iContact Unveils How They Will Give Back to the Community

Local email marketing firm, iContact recently launched their plan to more formally give back to the community. The 4-1 program includes plans to donate: 1% of employee time, 1% of product, 1% of payroll, and 1% of equity.  Aaron Houghton, Chairman and Co-Founder of iContact Corporation said that, "By giving our time and financial contributions to worthy charitable organizations we support their efforts to make a difference in the world." Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors Donate More than 1,000 Toys!

Almost 300 children will receive gifts for Christmas this year from the efforts of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors. Through the Friends of Wake County Guardian Ad Litem Angel program the RRAR collected over 1,000 toys and gave back in a big way this season!

The North Carolina State Employees' Credit Union Partner with Visa to Give Laptops to Tarheel ChalleNGe

The SECU chairman Shirley Bell called it a, "natural fit for our organization" to give back to Tarheel ChalleNGe. By teaming with Visa, they were able to donate 54 laptops to Tarheel ChalleNGe, a quasi-military program for at-risk youth in Salemburg, NC. Check out the full story here

GlaxoSmithKline Will Give Back to The Raleigh Boys Club Unit of Boys & Girls Clubs

 GlaxoSmithKline gives back to their community in the hopes that their employees will form long-term relationships with local nonprofits. On their "Orange Day" day of service, Advair's Marketing Division will help to remodel the Junior Room at The Raleigh Boys Club Unit of Boys & Girls Clubs.
