Announcing the New APPCNC.org!

As we kick of our 25th year of investing in youth, we are proud to introduce the new APPCNC.org!

The Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of North Carolina (APPCNC) is North Carolina's leader in supporting local communities in preventing adolescent pregnancy through advocacy, collaboration and education.

We hope this new website serves as an important resource as you work to give North Carolina's kids and teens the opportunities they need to become healthy, responsible adults.

What's New?

Our goal in building the new APPCNC.org was to create a place where practitioners, educators, parents, community leaders, policymakers, journalists and teens could learn the very best and latest information regarding teen pregnancy and prevention.

The new website includes:

Statistics about adolescent pregnancy in North Carolina and in your county.

Information about North Carolina's new Healthy Youth Act, including basic information about the new law and implementation tips for educators.

Information for parents on having "the talk" - an important step in raising healthy children.

Information on science-based approaches to pregnancy prevention.

Ways to support our work.

Please be advised that the new website looks best in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.

We will continue to work over the coming months to add additional resources to APPCNC.org. We hope that the new website is helpful to you as you work to make North Carolina a better place.
