American Red Cross-Central North Carolina Chapter

The humanitarian mission of the Red Cross is vitally important in our local community. The dynamic activities of the Central North Carolina Chapter – serving Durham, Vance, Person and Granville Counties – provide immediate human response when fires, floods, and other natural or man-made disasters create real emergencies in the lives of our families, friends, and neighbors.

Your Red Cross provides affected families with food, clothing, shelter, prescription medication, and other disaster-caused needs. At the same time, we actively help you prevent, prepare for, and response to disasters and other emergencies through our community education classes and materials.

The Central NC Chapter is a private charitable organization and receives no government funding. It is totally dependent on and grateful for the support of the people of Durham, Granville, Person and Vance counties to continue its life-changing work.
