AnimalKind – Events

AnimalKind's mission is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of cats and dogs in Triangle-area NC shelters, by subsidizing pet spay/neuter for the lowest-income families.

AnimalKind's program, THE $20 FIX, enables low-income pet owners of Wake, Durham, Orange, Person, and Caswell counties to spay or neuter their pets and prevent accidental litters of puppies and kittens.

Providing pet spay/neuter assistance to low-income residents is a proven, cost-effective solution to pet overpopulation.

When adequately funded, a program like THE $20 FIX will actually bring a permanent end to the killing of adoptable animals.
