Bushido Women's Self Defense

The Department of Justice estimates that 1 out of every 6 women in America have been involved in a sexual assault at some point in their lives. To us, that is unacceptable. We feel the best way to stop sexual assault is to give women the tools they need so they can defend themselves. By training women to avoid the dangerous situations they can avoid and fight in the ones they cannot, our goal is to keep women safe. The sexual predators get no victories. Together, as instructors and students, we can make a difference. We can change things.

Our classes and courses are designed for women only (no outside observers are allowed). While most of our instructors have extensive backgrounds in the martial arts, our program in not martial arts-based. We take a very practical approach. The techniques we teach are simple, effective, and specifically tailored for women to use in sexual assault situations.
