Child Evangelism Fellowship® CEF® of North Carolina in Durham has a simple, but profound threefold mission purpose: evangelism, discipleship, and connecting local churches to unchurched kids and families. We have a priority calling to enrich city kids living in under-resourced communities of Durham.

The vision of CEF Durham is a 10 year block-by-block spiritual transformation of city kids and their families living in 10 of Durham’s most under-resourced communities. This is why CEF works weekly in these communities. The "10 Keys of the Kingdom" are being implemented within each community for long-term physical, mental, and spiritual transformation.

Thus with trained urban ministers and volunteer teachers -- outreach in all 10 communities for the next 10 years can be sustainable and effective. In collaboration with other ministries and agencies, our goal is to see 500 families free of systemic poverty and 100 youth/adults engaged in Christian leadership for the transformation of their own communities.
