Crape Myrtle Festival

Crape Myrtle Festival is an all-volunteer nonprofit that encourages and promotes the development of services for persons living with AIDS and/or HIV infection, and to provide financial assistance, outreach, and education for realized needs within the Triangle's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.

Begun as a small gathering among friends in 1981, the Crape Myrtle Festival (CMF) is now the oldest AIDS-related fundraising entity in the Southeastern US.

The Crape Myrtle Festival,Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

CMF has raised over $1,000,000 for the organizations it supports, fostered awareness and inspired hope for countless individuals throughout the community.
