In 2011, the Crape Myrtle Festival team of volunteers and supporters raised $36,000 which was divided among the following Triangle area charities and causes:

LGBT Center of Raleigh (www.lgbtcenterofraleigh.com) $5,000
Equality NC Foundation

El Centro Hispano Health Program (www.elcentronc.org) $2,500
Crape Myrtle Festival (CMF) is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit that raises money and supports education and outreach for organizations within and beyond the local HIV/AIDS and LGBT communities.
