Durham Economic Resource Center – Events
The Durham Economic Resource Center (DERC) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to address adult poverty in Durham County by offering low-cost merchandise for distribution through organizational memberships to non-profit and government agencies and faith-based organizations; to provide on-the-job training to the unemployed, underemployed and those who are considered hard to employ; and to serve as an organizer and change agent in building and developing strategic partnerships to address the root causes of poverty.
