East Coast Greenway Alliance

The East Coast Greenway Alliance is developing a safe, accessible route that connects neighborhoods and destinations through a green travel corridor from Canada to Florida to be enjoyed by bicyclists, walkers, joggers, and other non-motorized users. Locally, we aim to complete the Cross Triangle Greenway as a continuous 60-mile long greenway that connects most Triangle communities by bike and by foot. We see this as a crucial way Triangle residents can lower greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, decrease obesity and its related complications, and lower costs of transportation to help drive economic recovery.
