March Madness at FIFNC! Play to win and support your local nonprofit.

March Madness is upon us! This year, fill out a bracket over at GoodBrackets and support First In Families of North Carolina (FIFNC).

GoodBrackets is a March Madness inspired fundraising competition. Here's how it works:

You fill out a NCAA Men’s tournament bracket and compete to win prizes for yourself and FIFNC. Players have the option to donate directly to their non-profit or pool their funds with other players and potentially win more for the non-profit they've chosen. Then, you can opt to make a donation by choosing us – First In Families of North Carolina – as the non-profit to play on behalf of. No cost is necessary to participate, but there is a suggested minimum $10 donation.

To play, register at GoodBrackets.com Email a completed Men's NCAA Tournament Bracket to info@goodbrackets.com. Include in the email your name, address, telephone number, the name non-profit you’re supporting: FIRST IN FAMILIES OF NORTH CAROLINA. Entries without all of these items are incomplete and will not be considered. Brackets freeze shortly before the tip of the first real NCAA tournament game (not the play-in game, the next one). At this point, all picks are final.

Prizes:
For Non Profits:
• Perfect Bracket Prize: $50,000 for the nonprofit chosen by any player who has a perfect bracket. In the unlikely event that there is more than one perfect bracket, the prize will be split evenly between the non profits. Members of the GoodBrackets team and their families are not eligible for this prize.
• Best Bracket Prize: 1% of the money donated on the site, minimum $500, for the nonprofit selected by the player with the best bracket score.
• Most Popular Non Profit: 1% of the money donated on the site, minimum $500 for the nonprofit that is chosen on the most brackets. The nonprofit that is picked the most times by players (whether they donate directly or pool their donation) wins this prize. In the event that multiple non profits tie, the prize will be split evenly among them.

For Players:
• Best Bracket Prize 1st Place: 2 tickets to the 2012 Final Four (travel not included).
• Best Bracket Prize 2nd and 3rd Place: $25 Amazon Gift Certificates
