Helping Paws mission is 3-fold:
- to provide the highest quality Animal Therapy to the people in our community who are ill, lonely, injured, or have been stricken by misfortune.
- through our reading animal literacy program, B.A.R.K.S©® (Bonding Animals, Reading, Kids, & Safety) to help children with learning and speech disabilities overcome those problems, build self-confidence and self-esteem, improve their inter-personal communication skills, to teach them how to be safe around animals and the humane treatment of animals
- to support and promote the generous spirit of animals by supporting greyhound rescue and other dog/animal rescue & protection groups
