Kramden Institute
Imagine two middle schoolers -- one can afford a home computer and the other cannot. Which one do you think will do much better in school?
Kramden Institute is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable institution whose mission is to help less-advantaged students in our communities bridge the 'digital divide' by locating and refurbishing used/recycled computers to donate to kids who work hard in school, but cannot afford home computers.
Since 2003, Kramden has placed over 6,000 computers in the homes of students who work hard in school yet do not have the financial means to afford a computer.
Why We Need Your Donations:
It Costs...
- $65 to refurbish one computer for a child in need
- $10 to recycle unusable monitor and computer donations
- $140 to provide a computer give-away day for a local school
