Couture for a Cause

In the economic downturn, Wake County charities are getting more and more creative with their fundraising efforts. This fall, ME³ is putting the community’s creativity to the test for its first annual fashion show fundraiser and contest, Couture for a Cause.
Inspired by the hit TV show "Project Runway", Couture for a Cause will challenge local fashion designers to come up with an outfit that captures the brand and "essence" of one of ME³’s partnering nonprofits, including a range of local organizations from Artspace to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.
The fashion show and contest will be held on Friday, October 23, from 8 to 10 p.m. at Sitti in downtown Raleigh. Additional event information, including designer and sponsorship information, can be found on the ME³ website at www.me-3.org/coutureforacause.
