Grief organization seeking motivated, community leaders for Board positions!

April 6, 2011

National Students of AMF is currently searching for several highly motivated, community leaders to join our existing Board of Directors. The mission of National Students of AMF (www.studentsofamf.org) is to support college students grieving the illness or death of a loved one. Incorporated in 2006, the organization is going through a period of tremendous growth and we need a strong board to offer support and ensure that we can continue to provide support to grieving college students across the country. We are looking for volunteers, who are connected to the mission, engaged, capable of financial and in-kind donations, and/or with community connections. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with experience in PR/marketing, fundraising, finance, technology, and/or nonprofit management. Proximity to the Raleigh/Durham area is desirable, but candidates from other areas will also be considered. Although financial contribution is expected (in accordance with the board member's ability), more important is a willingness to take an active role in developing the organization through the donation of time, skills, and energy. This is a unique opportunity to grow this board and create a legacy within this vibrant, young organization.

Please contact our Governance Committee Chair, David Fajgenbaum (david@studentsofamf.org; 919-810-0453) if you are interested in learning more about the positions on the Board that National Students of AMF wishes to fill.
