NC MomsRising welcomes everyone who cares about families, the future of our country, and equity for women. We may not all be mothers, but we all have or have had a mother!

We use creative approaches and a mix of online and on-the-ground activism to bring parents' voices to policy debates and provide opportunities for action no matter how busy your schedule.

Our over 22,000 NC members are already making a difference in NC on issues ranging from protecting children and families in the state budget to giving kids a healthy start free of toxic exposure to helping promote positive work/ family balance policies.

As the first state chapter of MomsRising.org, a national nonpartisan, non-profit group working to bring together millions of people who want a more family-friendly America, we're excited to bring their proven tactics to bear on the issues facing NC families.
