NC Sustainable Energy Association

Founded in 1978, the NC Sustainable Energy Association works to ensure a sustainable future by promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency in North Carolina through education, public policy and economic development.

For decades, NCSEA has been a leader in shaping North Carolina’s commitment to green jobs, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and high performance building.

NCSEA’s expert staff, Board of Directors, individual and business members, and volunteers are working tirelessly to change public policy and drive market development in ways that create sustainable energy jobs in our rapidly growing new energy economy.

NCSEA is the leading partner in North Carolina with the public, private and non-profit sectors bringing about collaborative market-oriented solutions to our most pressing energy challenges and opportunities.

We believe the key to success is through removing policy barriers to market development, advocating for policies that will lead to a sustainable energy future, and educating North Carolinians about sustainable energy – all of which will help our industry grow.

Across the varied landscape of North Carolina, the actions of NCSEA and our members and donors have resulted in unprecedented changes in how we use, generate and think about energy in our economy. Due to NCSEA’s collaborative work, North Carolina has catapulted forward as the Southeast’s leader in sustainable energy policy, regulation and development – but much
more work lies ahead.

Please give us your support as we work together to turn our energy challenges into opportunities for generations to come. Learn more at wwww.energync.org.
