Seeking all ages for various roles. See details below. Audition times are listed based on characters being sought. No appointments are taken, auditions are first come first serve. Sign in on Sunday, May 3rd will begin at noon. Sign in will not be allowed without headshot (or photo) and resume. All auditioning (including dancers for Liesl and Rolf) must bring sheet music. Adult roles are paid. Please click here for the tentative rehearsal and performance calendar.

1:00pm - Dance auditions for Liesl and Rolf

Requirements for roles: Females must be believably 16 going on 17. Males must be believably 17 going on 18. All auditioning must be good movers and excellent singers. The choreography will be taught promptly at 1:00 so please arrive ready to begin at that time. After dancing, some will be asked to stay and sing 16 bars. Bring ballet, jazz or character shoes. No dancing barefoot or in street shoes/sneakers.

2:30pm - Vocal auditions for the roles of the von Trapp children

Requirements for roles: Must be excellent singers and fall within the age description as listed below for each character.
Gretl - female believeably age 4 to 7.
Marta - female believeably age 6 to 9.
Brigitta - female believably age 8 to 10.
Kurt - male believeably age 8 to 12.
Louisa - female believeably 12 to 14.
Friedrich - male believably 13 to 15.

6:00pm - Vocal auditions for adult roles ages 18 and older.

Seeking to cast strong singers for principal and chorus parts including (but not limited to) Elsa, Max, nuns, Nazis and friends.

Sheet music should be a musical theatre selection in the style of the show. Singers will sing 16 bars only but should be prepared to sing more if asked. Singers may be asked to sing less than 16 bars depending on turnout and time. Sight reading accompanist provided by NCT. No acapella singing will be allowed.

FINAL CALLBACKS FOR ALL ROLES WILL BE SUNDAY NIGHT, MAY 3 FOLLOWING ADULT AUDITONS. No monologues. Sides will be provided for those asked to read.
