Orange/Chatham Friends of the Guardian ad Litem Program

The purpose of the Friends of the Guardian ad Litem Program is to support the Guardian ad Litem Program (www.gal15b.org) and its member guardians in their advocacy for abused and neglected children. A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a trained community volunteer appointed by the Court to represent the best interests of an abused or neglected child. The child has typically been removed from the custody of his or her parents.
