Out of the Darkness Community Walk - Wake Forest – Events

The Wake Forest Out of the Darkness Community Walk hopes to educate the public about the signs and depression in an effort to prevent future suicides. Another goal is to eradicate the stigma that surrounds the mention of suicide. Survivors of suicide, those who have lost a loved one to suicide, have to deal with this on a daily basis. We want to remind people that suicide is mostly a result of mental illness, not a spur of the moment decision.
