PlayMakers Repertory Company – Events

PlayMakers Repertory Company is North Carolina's premier non-profit professional theatre company. With its duel commitment to engage the greater Triangle community in an ongoing exploration of theatre and nurture succeeding generations of artists and audiences, PlayMakers performs a five-show season in the Center for Dramatic Art in Chapel Hill.

Our purpose is to provide a public arena for the examination of diverse classic and contemporary texts. We seek to engage our entire community in an ongoing exploration of the nature and significance of theatre in contemporary life. Through the collaboration of our resident company and designers, guest artists, and audiences, we examine the theatrical event and the methods used for its realization in contemporary performance.
