SAFE Haven for Cats
SAFE Haven is Raleigh’s No Kill feline shelter.
Our mission is to ensure the well-being of every cat through adoption, affordable spay/neuter services, community outreach and adherence to No Kill principles.
SAFE Haven is unique because we also have a low-cost spay/neuter clinic called SAFE Care. The SAFE Care clinic provides low-cost services for stray, feral and owned cats in the Triangle. All cats and kittens at SAFE Haven receive the following prior to adoption: Sterilization, a Rabies vaccine, Distemper vaccines, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, treatment for fleas, intestinal parasites and ear mites, a thorough examination by a veterinarian, and a microchip including registration with a national registry (AKC).
ADOPTION
Find permanent, loving, safe homes for these animals.
EDUCATION
Educate the public about pet overpopulation and promote sterilization. Bring attention to and alleviate the suffering of stray cats in our community.
STERILIZATION
Spay and neuter as many cats as possible in our community.
