The Links, Incorporated is an organization primarily comprised of women of African heritage who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the identities, culture and economic survival of all people of African origin through cultural, educational and civic programs. Through our partnerships we promote activism to help bring about positive change that transcends time, race and socio-economic differences.Our objectives:
To foster economic development
To educate the public about issues central to the well-being of African-Americans
To advocate appropriate public responses to the needs of African-Americans
To empower leadership development
To provide positive ways to address critical youth issues
To foster artistic endeavors
To promote the well-being of the African-American family
To collaborate with organizations with similar goals
To increase awareness of international issues, particularly those affecting people of African descent
