The Salvation Army has served continuously in Durham since 1910.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. It seeks to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
An international movement, The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
