Call for Volunteers at The Scrap Exchange

The Scrap Exchange creative reuse center is looking for volunteers to assist in processing donations,and maintaining store displays.
We have just moved into an amazing new space at 923 Franklin St.in Durham and there is much to be done! We would love to hear from folks interested in committing 10 -- 15 hours / week to help us process materials and set up our new resource center. It is a terrific way to see what materials we have coming in and set aside your favorites before they are scooped up by someone else. If you are particularly interested in a specific area like crafts, sewing, electronics, woodworking, or art-making of any sort, we can accommodate your skills and interest.
The Scrap Exchange is a nonprofit Creative Reuse Center whose mission is to promote creativity, environmental awareness and community through reuse.
