Who We Are
The Triangle Air Awareness Program (TAAP) provides leadership that educates and mobilizes students, businesses, organizations and individuals to be aware of the air quality forecast, to improve air quality by their actions, and to protect their health on poor air quality days.
We offer The Adventures of Clair and CAM, an air quality curriculum for grades K-5, that is free to schools within our 13-county region. Governments, other organizations and businesses may join our Business Coalition to receive air quality updates, education and event information. Membership in the Coalition is free.
TAAP is a public-private partnership between the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Division of Air Quality (NCDAQ) and the Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP).
