Triangle choruses to share concert proceeds with Komen- NC Triangle

The Triangle Gay Men's Chorus (TGMC) and the Common Woman Chorus will be presenting Komen for the Cure- NC Triangle with a donation of $2,000 as a result of their recent collaboration.
On June 12, 2011, TGMC and the Common Woman Chorus presented the first local performance of"A Proclamation of Hope"- featuring Sing for the Cure" at Raleigh's Meymandi Concert Hall in the Progress Energy Performing Arts Center.
The net proceeds of this event are being shared equally by the choruses and Komen for the Cure-NC Triangle,the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world leader in the breast cancer movement.
'Sing for the Cure' is a world-renowned choral song cycle honoring those affected by breast cancer: survivors, their families and friends, and was commissioned by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the global leader in the breast cancer movement.
