Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network
The mission of Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network is to provide shelter, meals, case management and educational services to homeless families in addition to promoting action and awareness in the community regarding homelessness.
Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network (WIHN) is dedicated to ending homelessness. Our vision is one of restoring hope and dignity to a stigmatized population barely surviving on the margins of society. We believe that a healthy family is one that maintains permanent housing, is sufficiently fed, has gainful employment and supports its members emotionally. In providing for those most basic needs, we are assisting families in regaining respect for both themselves and gaining respect from those in the community, strengthening bonds between people within our neighborhoods and cities. We envision a society in which all members contribute and are content with stability and connections in their lives.
