How does our giving compare?

There’s room for improvement.

While the Triangle is growing more prosperous, individuals aren’t giving as much as their peers in other parts of the state. We’re heading in the right direction though. From 2002–2005, individual giving in the Triangle increased by $200 million.

Compared to Charlotte, the Triad and North Carolina as a whole, the Triangle rates last in individual giving.
